Delete your account

You can permanently delete your ThatBoundGame account while signed in. The request completes in the app; you do not need to contact support.

In the app

  1. Sign in to ThatBoundGame.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

Deletion cannot be undone

Your session is revoked and your username and email are released. You will need to register again to play, and the deleted account, balances and progress cannot be restored.

If a match is active

Confirming deletion immediately records a deterministic forfeit, resolves the match and performs the normal server-owned settlement before the account is tombstoned. This prevents deletion from leaving the other player's match unresolved.

What is deleted or de-identified

Encrypted backup copies

A pre-deletion copy can remain in access-restricted, encrypted disaster-recovery backups until its scheduled rotation expires, for no longer than six months under the current staging policy. Backups are not used as an active user directory. If a disaster recovery restore occurs, completed deletion tombstones must be reapplied before restored data returns to service.

If you cannot sign in

The current internal beta has no public password-reset or unauthenticated deletion route. Use TestFlight beta feedback and begin your message with “Account deletion access.” Do not send a password or session token.
